Job Title: Dental Assistant Instructor - Online

Summary: The instructor will ensure ethical conduct, educational practices, and the academic development of each student, with focus on the Mission Objectives of the College of Health Care Professions. In this position, the Instructor delivers the curriculum to help students achieve their educational goals. The instructors will also manage their classrooms and promote a positive and engaging learning environment, provide support, tutoring and other assistance as needed. Instructors are to “model” the professional behaviors, language, and activities expected of our students.
Dental Assistant .Clinical Coordinator:
Description: The Dental Assisting Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for the supervision and training of Clinical Instructors and is the primary point of communication between the clinical sites and the program. The Dental Assisting Clinical Coordinator is responsible for scheduling and coordinating students in clinical assignments to ensure alignment with curriculum sequencing, as well as equitable and educationally valid experiences. The Dental Assisting Clinical Instructor assists in the developing and maintaining clinical standards and requirements. The Dental Assisting Clinical Coordinator may have limited teaching assignments that allow for adequate time for administrative responsibilities. The Dental Assisting Clinical Instructor works with the Students and the Program director to facilitate registration and execution of the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners (TSBDE) - Registered Dental Assistant Exam.

Online and clinical instructors:
* Must be Texas RDA license-active
* Have proof of dental education as a dental assistant or greater.
