The College of Idaho invites applications and recommendations for an Assistant Coach, Beach
Volleyball. As a member of the athletics team, this position supports the objectives of the head
coach in providing administrative and coaching oversite of the volleyball team.
The Assistant Coach assists in the coordination and supervision of the sports program; skill and
tactical instruction to student-athletes during training and competition, assist in the preparation of
the team for opponents, organize and manage team practices, as well as identify talent and assist in
recruitment efforts.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree preferably in physical education, recreation,
health or related field, prior competitive volleyball experience required; collegiate volleyball or
beach volleyball coaching experience preferred.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States as of the expected hire date and
throughout the date of their employment without sponsorship from The College of Idaho. A
current valid driver’s license is also required and the candidate must be vehicle insurable.
