The School of Business at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) invites outstanding applicants for adjunct faculty positions in business disciplines. Th e School is interested in further developing a pool of highly qualified adjunct instructors to teach undergraduate courses in introductory-level accounting, business law, finance, economics, management, information systems & technology, and marketing. Responsibilities of Business Adjunct Faculty include:
- Promoting the mission and vision of the TCNJ School of Business.
- Providing engaging, enthusiastic, and student-centered teaching to undergraduates.
- Establishing a professional classroom atmosphere that encourages mutual respect and civil engagement.
- Understanding and conveying the essentials of the course discipline through effective pedagogies that undergraduate students can master.
- Maintaining high academic standards, while demonstrating equality and fairness in an undergraduate-focused environment.
- Working successfully and productively in a team environment.
- Performing the necessary duties of an adjunct instructor to ensure high-quality instruction.
- Candidates must have an earned master’s degree in Business or an area related to their teaching discipline.
- Upon request, candidates must be able to provide proof of success in a teaching or training capacity.
