The Basic Spanish for Non-Speakers Instructor is a part-time position. The instructor will be responsible for teaching foundational Spanish language skills to individuals with little to no prior experience in the language. This role requires a passion for the Spanish language and helping others to learn the essential skills required to build confidence and proficiency in Spanish for everyday use.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans for fostering a supportive learning environment.Teach basic grammar, vocabulary, and conversational skills through interactive methods.Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation and practice.Incorporate cultural elements to enhance language learning and provide context for the language.Collaborate with the Workforce Development and Continuing Education department on course scheduling, marketing, and enrollment efforts.(These essential job functions are not to be construed as a complete statement of all duties performed. Employees will be required to perform other job-related marginal duties as required.)

This is a part-time teaching assignment. Adjunct Instructors earn $543 - $727 per credit hour, based on degree level.
