What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing & Operations Assistant position at The College Preparatory & Leadership Academy?
The Marketing & Operations Assistant is responsible for the marketing, branding and promotion of the school, supporting the day-to-day technological needs of the school, and ensuring smooth operations related to technology, event management, and school communications. This role is crucial in promoting school events and special occasions, assisting with the continued growth of the school, maintaining the functionality of all school devices, and supporting faculty and staff with technology tools.
- Promotional Materials: Help design and distribute promotional materials for school events, fundraisers, and important announcements. This includes but is not limited to flyers, infographics, videos, etc.
- Social Media & Digital Communication: Creates daily content for the school’s social media accounts or website to promote events, share school news, and engage with the school community.
- Technology/AV Setup: Assist with setting up technology and AV equipment for school events, such as assemblies, pep rallies, and performances.
- Photography & Videography: Capture photos and videos of special events, school days, and extracurricular activities to support school communications and promotional materials.
- Picture Day Coordination: Assist with scheduling and preparations for Picture Day, ensuring that students and teachers are organized and prepared.
- Device Repairs & Maintenance: Assist with in-house device repairs and set up.
- Arrival and Dismissal Team: Support the school’s arrival and dismissal team, ensuring smooth processes during student drop-off and pick-up times.
- Other related duties as assigned
