I’m excited to announce a fractional social media opportunity to help drive the growth of my three businesses! If you're passionate about social media strategy, content creation, and marketing, this paid project-based role could be a perfect fit. You’ll contribute about 5 hours per week (20 hours/month) to supporting my startups! This role is ideal for college juniors/seniors (majoring in marketing, communications, business or similar), or recent grads looking to sharpen their skills in the real world. Please note that a 1-2 hour work simulation will be required in the interview process.

Role Description:
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the strategy necessary to connect The Collegiate, VirtuallyVeasley, and Jocelyn Denee Consulting to their target markets on all major social media platforms, thus growing the number of business leads received. The Social Media Manager will spend the first two weeks evaluating the current state of each business's social media platforms, develop recommendations for enhancement, and then create a plan of action to produce 5 high-quality posts that lead to increased engagement and analytics each week. Additionally, the Social Media Manager will respond to all questions/comments generated on social media, driving prospective clients to the respective websites for service bookings.
Qualifications
Completion of 60 college credit hours (college junior and above). Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Preferred majors in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, Digital Media, Business, or similar.
Experience:
- A thriving social media presence (or contributions to someone else’s presence) indicating mastery of social media platforms and strategy (required)
- Excellent written and verbal communication (required)
- Ability to set deadlines, manage time, and execute tasks independently (required)
- Video editing via iMovie, Final Cut Pro, or other (required)
- Knowledge of the college admissions process (preferred)
- Knowledge of general Christian principles and teachings (preferred)
