What are the responsibilities and job description for the Roof Top Pool Supervisor position at The Colonnade Hotel?
POSITION PURPOSE:
The Pool Supervisor responsibilities include being part of the Management Team responsible for all shift operations of the Roof Top Pool, as well as training and mentoring staff, and for providing award-winning guest service.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Responsible for all shift operations of the Roof Top Pool. Train, supervise, counsel and discipline staff for the efficient operation of the Roof Top Pool.
- Direct staff in their work assignments.
- Involved in the administrative duties required for RTP including: inventory, proper cash handling, and financial management, etc.
- Interact positively with guests promoting hotel facilities and services. Resolve problems to the satisfaction of involved parties. Visually monitor and take action to ensure food quality and service standards are met.
Skills, Abilities and Experience needed to be successful
- A minimum of 1 - 2 years of full service, high volume hotel food and beverage or hotel experience.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in high volume hotel food and beverage or hotel strongly preferred
- Strong leadership skills and excellent communication skills.
- CPR/First Aid and Lifeguard Certified preferred
- Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.
This is a temporary position with the potential for fulltime regular employment with after the Roof Top Pool season closes.
