What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist position at The Colony Group?
The Receptionist will perform administrative duties and all front office functions, with the goal of providing a lasting first impression to incoming guests. They must be professional, friendly, informative, and welcoming to visitors, and ready to answer questions, field concerns, and perform basic booking keeping.
The Receptionist is a part time position working in the Santa Monica office Monday - Thursday from 11am - 4pm.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, greeting them, fielding questions, escorting visitors to specific destinations, preparing / serving beverages to guests.
- Answer phone inquiries, direct calls, and provide basic information to callers. Oversee mail deliveries, packages, and couriers, and ensure timely and proper mail distribution.
- Keep the kitchen and lobby area tidy. Empty dishwasher, restock coffee, refrigerator, and snacks.
- Monitor, purchase, track, stock, and order office supplies. Coordinate maintenance of office equipment such as copiers, stamp machine, etc. with vendors.
- Print, assemble, bind and mail quarterly reports to clients as well as assist with a variety of administrative duties for any on-site employee or management upon request.
- File, enter, and maintain records for office expenses into accounting software, reconcile credit card statements, and assist with expense reports.
- Completing Miscellaneous projects & Duties as assigned

Pay range for this role is expected to be between $25 - $28 per hour.
