Description

The Columbia Group (TCG), is a technical services support company which has a successful 50 year history of providing the United States Military with acquisition, logistics management, engineering, design, fabrication, test and evaluation, information technology and financial management support services.

We are seeking IT Interns to join our team in Alexandria, VA (working remotely). The participants of this program will:

• Participate in an 8 week Summer Internship Program where they will be developing and enhancing web / database applications used by The Columbia Group.
• Learn to use PHP, Javascript, Jquery, MySQL, HTML, and CSS to build web applications.
• Work remotely and utilize Teams to collaborate with other Interns to complete assigned tasks.
• Be mentored and trained by experienced application developers.
  
  

Position Requirements

The ideal candidate will be excited about learning computer programming and have

• Understanding of basic programming concepts
• Knowledge of at least one programming language
• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
• Experience with SQL is a plus
• US Citizenship is a prerequisite.
