Annual Pay Rate: $54,000

Work Schedule: Full-Time

Essential Duties:
The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and communication needs of students with speech and language disorders. Working under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), the SLPA will assist in the treatment and documentation of speech and language disorders in a school setting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- State certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) or eligibility for certification.
- Knowledge of speech and language development, communication disorders, and therapeutic interventions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to work with students of varying ages and diverse backgrounds.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for accurate record-keeping and progress monitoring.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is a plus.
