Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Showroom Host to assist in the nightly operations of our showroom. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, ensuring a secure and efficient environment for both staff and customers. Must be available weekend evenings. Occasional weekday nights may be required.
Position Roles:
- Guest greeting
- Ushering
- Ticket Taking/selling
- Crowd Management
- Assist in the turnover of the showroom between shows, ensuring all areas are clean and organized.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
- Manage cash/credit handling duties during events, including ticket sales.
- Handle conflict management effectively to maintain a positive atmosphere for all attendees.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the event.
Skills
Ideal candidates will possess the following skills:
- Experience in hospitality environments is highly desirable.
- Strong computer skills to manage transactions accurately.
- Background in events management, security or guest services to enhance attendee experiences a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse groups.
- Proficiency in public speaking to effectively communicate with guests.
