Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in upholding our high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Your contributions will directly impact the overall experience of our guests at our Newport News, Virginia location.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and public areas to ensure a pristine environment.
- Change bed linens, towels, and replenish amenities as needed for guest comfort.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized for efficient workflow.
- Follow established procedures for handling hazardous materials and waste disposal.
- Assist with laundry duties as required to support housekeeping operations.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services is preferred.
- Strong understanding of hospitality standards and guest service expectations.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques is a plus but not required.
- Basic knowledge of floor care procedures is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and guests.
