Position Title : Program DirectorPosition Status : Full-TimeSupervisor : Assistant Executive DirectorWork location : Community ProgramsStatus : EPre-Employment Requirements : Drug testCriminal background check – over five years since prior convictionTB skin test : Must have a test or provide proof of one within the past year.Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance.Prefer Bachelor’s degree in a human service field, but not required; a combination of education and / or experience must equal 2 years.Position Summary : Manages the program to include scheduling and programming, and overseeing the safety and welfare of personnel, clients, and stakeholders.Skill Sets : Demonstrate good oral and written communications. Maintain a supportive and encouraging working relationship with personnel and clients. Participate in appropriate referral planning, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation of client recovery. Basic computer skills required, strong customer service orientation required, excellent verbal and written communication skills required, well-developed presentation skills required.Physical and Environmental Demands : Visual acuity and manual dexterity needed for required paperwork. Frequent talking and hearing when communicating with co-leaders, families, and other service providers. Work is light with walking, standing, and occasional stooping.Job Responsibilities : Able to provide quality customer service to personnel, persons served, families, and stakeholders.Helps maintain the health, safety, and welfare of personnel, persons served, and stakeholders.Ensure the agency is operating under CARF accreditation standards.Ensure that state and federal licensure and regulations are being adhered to.Ensure the cleanliness of all community facilities.Collaborate with treatment team when appropriate.Train and monitor Program Managers, Peer Support Specialists, and Substance Abuse Techs to ensure the delivery of effective programming.Review the OTJ (on-the-job) training documentation packet for each new hire or for retraining purposes.Supervise employees, complete performance evaluations, and provide disciplinary action when appropriate.Manage employee time and attendance records while ensuring there are no gaps in work schedules.Train and orient supervisees to departmental policies.Participate and provide leadership in agency continuing quality improvement.Plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate the recovery program.Respond by phone in a timely manner within 2 hours unless utilizing PTO.Disseminate information regarding services and the focus to promote awareness in the community.Ensure company policy and procedures are upheld.Other duties as assigned.General Standards : Exemplify Core ValuesFollow the Ethical Code of ConductFollow the Chain of CommandMaintain Confidentiality of all client information.Maintain a safe environment for recovery.Maintain all requirements for job duties to include but not limited to TB skin screening and any continuing education requirements necessary.#J-18808-Ljbffr
