Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth guest flow. Duties
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and minimize wait times.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service.
- Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and dining area.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Utilize Micros POS system for managing reservations and tracking guest preferences.
- Support the restaurant team during peak hours by assisting with various tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
