Delivery Driver- 26' Box Truck

Join our dedicated team at The Common Market as a Delivery Driver for a 26' box truck. As a mission-driven distributor of local foods, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products from local farms to our customers. This full-time position requires delivering goods throughout the region while ensuring a connection between local farmers and our community.

In this role, you will be responsible for loading, transporting, and unloading goods. Our ideal candidate is a reliable driver who enjoys being on the road, has a strong work ethic, and is committed to providing excellent service. Being home every night is a key benefit of this role!

Salary: $21.50/hour, with a potential $2,000 Safe Driving Bonus annually.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safely operate a 26' box truck to deliver products to various locations
• Load and unload products efficiently and in compliance with safety standards
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and ensure timely communication with the logistics team
• Uphold the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness during transportation
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Build strong relationships with customers through excellent service
  
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience driving a box truck or larger
• Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record
• Experience with loading and unloading products safely
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds regularly
• Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and routes
