Job Responsibilities:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for delivering high-quality resident care in line with the Nurse Practice Act. This role involves safe and therapeutic resident care from admission through discharge in conjunction with physicians, families, and other multi-disciplinary health care professionals.
Utilizing the nursing process principles, the LPN plays a vital role in executing delegated care aspects for both residents and their families. The objective is to restore and maintain each resident's maximum mental and physical capabilities.
Requirements:
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen
- Valid licensed status as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Ohio
- Current certification in CPR; prior long-term care experience is preferable
