Job Responsibilities:
The Licensed Practical Nurse plays a vital role in delivering high-quality resident care in line with the Nurse Practice Act. This involves safe and therapeutic resident care from admission through discharge in conjunction with physicians, families, and other multi-disciplinary health care professionals. The nurse executes delegated care aspects for both residents and their families, utilizing the nursing process principles to restore and maintain each resident's maximum mental and physical capabilities.
Requirements:
- A successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen
- A valid licensed status as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Ohio
- Current certification in CPR; prior long-term care experience is preferable
