What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscaping Technician position at The Commons?
We are seeking a reliable Landscaping Technician to maintain the outdoor spaces of our nursing home. This role plays a vital part in creating a safe, clean, and inviting environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Note: This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Mow lawns, trim edges, and maintain flower beds and shrubs
- Water plants and grass, ensuring appropriate irrigation levels
- Remove weeds, debris, and litter from outdoor areas
- Operate basic landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)
- Maintain walking paths, courtyards, and patio areas
- Assist with seasonal decorations and outdoor setups
Qualifications
- Previous landscaping experience.
- Basic knowledge of plants, lawn care, and landscape maintenance.
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs and perform physical labor.
- Ability to work independently and reliably.
