What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobility Management Specialist position at The Community Action Committee of Pike County?
The Mobility Management Specialist at Pike CAC will work close with the Transportation Operations Manager, Senior Programs Manager, and the Senior & Transportation Programs Director to coordinate transportation services and resources, identify client needs, plan and organize events and marketing for mobility management and senior services to the local community.

Functional Area: Mobility Management

Responsibilities, Deliverables, Outcomes and Expectations
- Responsible for Mobility Management as defined by the Federal Transit Administration; short term planning, management activities, and projects for improving coordination among public transportation.
- Maintain and update the Pike County Coordinated Public Transit Human Service Transportation Plan on an as needed basis, communicating plans to local partners and ensure implementation of plans.
- Work toward Coordinated Public Transit Human Service Transportation Plan goal fulfillment.
- Responsible for quarterly reporting of program activity results to ODOT.
- Plan and organize socialization trips for seniors and low income participants as needed.
- Schedule, coordinate and facilitate Transportation Advisory Council membership and meetings.
- Develop outcomes for TAC, including timeframes, designed to coordinate local transportation services.
- Seek opportunities to meet and interact with senior citizens, low income populations, individuals with disabilities, and other identified individuals in order to assess and assist in meeting transportation needs.
- Maintain required records and handle confidential information in a professional manner.
- Responsible for providing recommendations to supervisor for better coordination and efficient provision of mobility management services.
- Maintain websites and social media sites for Mobility Management program.
- Attend mandatory mobility management meetings, trainings, and conferences as assigned by the TransportationOperations Manager, the Director of Senior, and Transportation Programs or ODOT.
- Obtain Travel Training Certification to better assess, serve and teach target populations to utilize county and regional transit systems.
- Assist Pike County residents with in-county and out-of-county transportation requests when gaps arise.
- Attend fairs, expos and other community events to promote transportation in the county.

- Maintain a visible and physical appearance at the Senior Center during peak hours of the day the seniors are congregated there.
- Responsible for the bi-monthly Golden Oldies Newsletter.
Assist with structuring and managing a fundraising, marketing and advertising program and calendar of events that will
promote the senior center, in order to ensure delivery of transportation, mobility, and social services to seniors.

- CAC Committee assignments, and other agency service duties as assigned.
- Liaison between all passengers/clients and the Transportation Program.
- Serves as representative of CAC on assigned outside committees as deemed appropriate.
