Job Title: Student Activities Coordinator

This position reports directly to the Principal.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand with complete clarity and work to uphold the mission, vision, and values ofCommunity Church.
- Know and uphold all policies and procedures – employee, parent/student, crisis management, etc.
- Model Christ-like character, God-dependency, and church attendance/participation for students and parents.
- Provide proactive care/supervision of students.
- Ensure the safety and security for all students by following all school policies and best practices.
- Report all injuries and/or serious incidents to the Divisional Supervisor in a timely manner.
- Enthusiastically engage with students during all scheduled daily activities; ensuring all safety precautions are being followed.
- Create after school activities specifically for Upper School students that promote athletic competition, scholarship, or student interest.
- Promote available programs on a weekly basis to Upper School students through morning announcements, email communication, and social media posts.
- Work with the Athletic Department to create and foster intramural sports that meet on a regular basis.
- Manage space on the Virginia Academy campus to ensure that activities run smoothly without interruption or conflict.
- Partner with Upper School Administration to oversee special events that relate to the job description.

Education:
Desired
- High school diploma.
- CPR/First Aid and/or MAT Certified.
- Demonstrated experience working with students.
Required
- Be a genuine believer and active follower of Christ.
- Have at least one year of experience of working in a camp, childcare, or youth ministry.
- Have knowledge of the Bible and the ability to lead Bible lessons.
- Be able to communicate well to parents & other staff.
