Teacher/Assistant Teacher/Childcare Provider/Daycare Teacher

Duties:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in a childcare setting
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Assist with mealtime routines, including preparing and serving meals and snacks
- Monitor children's behavior and ensure their safety at all times
- Collaborate with parents and communicate regularly about their child's progress
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare space

Experience:
- Experience working with children, particularly in a daycare or childcare setting
- Knowledge of childhood development and age-appropriate activities
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies
- Ability to create and implement lesson plans that promote literacy education and educational growth
- Experience working with children with autism or special needs is a plus

Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle challenging behaviors with compassion
- Organizational skills to plan activities, keep records, and maintain a clean and safe environment
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs of individual children and the overall group dynamic
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $9.75 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
