Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Worship Leader to guide our congregation in worship through music and spiritual engagement. Responsibilities
- Lead worship services with a focus on creating an uplifting and engaging atmosphere.
- Select appropriate music and plan worship sets that align with the church's vision and message.
- Educate the congregation on the significance of worship and its role in spiritual development.
- Mentor and develop musicians and vocalists within the worship team, providing guidance and support.
- Collaborate with pastoral staff to integrate worship into church events and services.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth rehearsals and performances.
- Organize rehearsals, ensuring all participants are prepared and equipped for services.
- Foster a spirit of teamwork among the worship team members, encouraging collaboration and creativity.
Requirements
- Proven experience in leading worship in a church or similar setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with the congregation and team members.
- Ability to educate others about worship practices and spiritual growth.
- Experience in mentoring musicians or vocalists is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in singing (mandatory) and playing an instrument (preferred but not mandatory).
- A deep personal faith commitment aligned with the values of our church community.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15,000.00 - $25,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
