JOB DESCRIPTION
Electro Mechanical Technician (emphasis is on Electrical side) -
- Soldering, surface mount and through hole. This is for PCB repair and some light assembly tasks around cables and connectors.
- Printed Circuit Board (PCB) testing and repair (replace components)
- Cable building an panel wiring. Skills include crimping and mechanical assembly
- Ordering and tracking subcontractor builds of printed circuit boards and cable/harness assemblies
- Test of PCBs, subassemblies and complete systems.
- Redlining and/or updating build documentation
Additional skills that would be helpful but are not strictly necessary
- Updating drawings using Altium
- Light design work around cables, harnessing, and simple circuits.
