JOB DESCRIPTION
Provides leadership in the department, helping to build and maintain strong core capability in robust design and development ensuring effective and efficient results from team
Works collaboratively with PMO to develop estimates and build and oversee execution programs as required
Supports all phases of the development process working with engineers to develop technical solutions and architectures, working with systems engineers to develop requirements, leading a multi-discipline development team to model, design, and test new products
Providing technical leadership to help resolve production issues, post-delivery failures, as well as obsolescence and supply chain issues
Leverages broad based technical background with the ability to lead multi-disciplined technical teams
May be responsible for TDP cost and schedule management and oversee supplier engagement for the lifecycle of both development and sustainment programs
Develops the estimates and prepares plans Oversees the engineering work from kickoff to closeout of task

While an hourly range is posted for this position, an eventual hourly rate is determined by a comprehensive salary analysis which considers multiple factors including but not limited to : job-related knowledge, skills and qualifications, education and experience as compared to others in the organization doing substantially similar work, if applicable, and market and business considerations.
