JOB TITLE : Hybrid Senior Network Engineer JOB LOCATION : Must be open to going to data center in Rockville MD when needed WAGE RANGE : $70hr to $75hr JOB NUMBER : 25-02379 REQUIRED EXPERIENCE : Must be able to obtain a Position of Trust and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting. Willing to work after hours and weekends during maintenance windows (Onsite) on-need basis (A Must) Information Technology (IT) Infrastructure, Local Area Network (LAN), Network Infrastructures 10 years of related experience JOB DESCRIPTION Sr. Network Engineer / SME-Expert Looking for a leader to drive the identified efforts and able to perform trouble shooting to determine root cause analysis (RCA) . Lead / plan and work with the FEDs to understand what is being planned but DRIVE the effort to completion.
- Experience leading a team of network engineers and working directly with client counterpart
- Experience with NetScaler Citrix – (A Must)
- Expert with Cisco switches network software upgrades
- Troubleshoot complex network issues (Expert)
- Vulnerability Remediation Process
- Update technical documentation, maintaining & implementation of the SOP for network security (A Must)
- Cisco IPsec VPN troubleshooting
- Cisco Identity Services Engine (Client)
- SolarWinds automation scripts
- Cisco ASA Firewall 5500 / Firepower (A Must)
- Palo Alto Firewalls Panorama
- Willing to work after hours and weekends during maintenance windows (Onsite) on-need basis (A Must)
- Azure experience with NSGs (Networking)
- Analyzing PCAP Files using Wireshark
- LAN, WAN, Wireless, and various network technologies
- Change Management Process
- TLS certificates renewals and installs
- Troubleshooting using Riverbed, Splunk, and other tools as available Desired skills :

- OSPF
