What are the responsibilities and job description for the Computer Repair Technician position at The Computer Shop?
We are looking for a full-time Computer/Network Technician. Our Company provides technology services to consumers and small businesses throughout the upstate NY area. All applicants must have a valid DLIC. Must be comfortable with troubleshooting network and Windows OS environments.

Technical Knowledge/Skills
– OS; Windows 7 – 11, Server 2012 – 2022, and Linux
– Networking; ie: DNS, DHCP, WAN, LAN, TCP/IP, Port Forwarding, IPv4, Firewall, File Sharing, Router configuration, Wireless, etc
– Apple Devices
– Printers; Trouble Shooting and Sharing
– Cabling; Ability to run and terminate Cat5e and Coax
– Ability to work with Ladders and Heights and Confined spaces
– Ability to hang or mount tv/lcd's to walls or ceilings
– Ability to lift servers/printers (around 50lbs)
– Virus Removal
– Component replacements; Motherboards, Screens, Power supplies, etc Qualifications:
– Successfully pass our technical test and complete our interview process
– Must pass drug test
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 39 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
