Your Path to Growth

As a Tier I Technician, you join with limited or no experience. After a year of training and completing the company-sponsored A Plus certification, you qualify for our Tier II position. With an additional year of experience and studying for the company-sponsored Net Plus certification, you can advance to our Tier III position. These positions involve working as a senior technician in-store or supporting residential/small business clients in the field.


Upon reaching Tier III, you focus on obtaining the Security Plus certification to enhance your information security skills. Once you have certifications in A Plus, Net Plus, and Security Plus, along with three years of experience, you could transition to our sister company, CW IT Support.


Joining CW IT Support offers even greater opportunities, allowing you to collaborate with enterprise-level organizations as an MSP Technician. In this role, you work on complex projects and gain valuable experience in managing large-scale IT infrastructures.

What will your role be?

As a Repair Technician, you'll be responsible for:


  • Effectively diagnosing and repairing software and hardware issues for computers, smartphones, tablets, and game consoles, and recommending suitable repair or replacement solutions.
  • Installing, updating, and configuring various software, operating systems, and applications on client devices.
  • Ensuring the security of clients' systems, installing, and maintaining security software, monitoring systems for potential security threats, and educating clients on safe online practices.
  • Keeping detailed records of all repairs, updates, and installations for future reference and to maintain a clear service history.
  • Identifying client needs and upselling appropriate solutions, such as protection plans, solid-state drives, RAM upgrades, etc.
  • Facilitating the client check-in and check-out processes using our established systems and procedures.
  • Maintaining a consistent and superior customer experience from the moment a client first contacts us, throughout the repair process, and until they retrieve their repaired device. Upholding our robust service-level system and ensuring consistent service delivery.
  • Assisting in converting client inquiries received over the phone about pricing and services into committed customers.
  • Managing inventory of computer parts, tools, and other supplies, ordering new stock when necessary.
  • Keeping the store clean, presentable, and organized to create a welcoming and professional environment.
  • Performing other assigned duties as required, adapting to the dynamic needs of our team and our clients.


What do you need?

  • High emotional intelligence, humility, and the ability to thrive in a team environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • A valid Driver’s License to ensure reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Ability to achieve goals and exceed expectations.
  • Previous customer service experience (minimum 1 year).
  • For Tier 1 Technician: no previous professional experience is required.
  • For Tier 2 Technician: an A certification and 1 year of professional experience are required.
