Job Summary

The Concours Club is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant F&B Manager to collaborate with the Food and Beverage Manager in leading and enhancing the operations of multiple dining outlets. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities, a strong banquet and event management background, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences. This role is pivotal in supporting day-to-day operations, supervising staff, and upholding the highest standards of food and beverage service and quality.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations across all food and beverage outlets to maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, placing orders as needed to prevent shortages.
  • Create Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and coordinate all aspects of event execution.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor food and beverage team members to foster a high-performing workforce.
  • Assist in creating staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and optimal service levels.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support employee growth.
  • Uphold high service standards to ensure memorable guest experiences.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints or feedback with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and update innovative and appealing menus.
  • Contribute to the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for all outlets.
  • Monitor operating expenses and implement cost-control measures to enhance profitability.
  • Support marketing strategies to drive revenue growth across all food and beverage services.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and communication.
  • Attend meetings and contribute insights for operational improvements.
  • Assist in planning and executing special events and promotional activities to enhance guest engagement and revenue.

Skills & Qualification Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of food and beverage management experience, ideally in high-volume or multi-outlet settings.
  • Extensive knowledge of food and beverage operations, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Proven leadership skills with a solid ability to manage and develop teams.
  • Excellent communication skills for professional interactions with staff, guests, and stakeholders.
  • Experienced in event planning and managing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
  • Skilled in inventory management, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Effective at resolving guest concerns and feedback with professionalism.
  • Well-versed in health, safety, and food service compliance standards.
  • Collaborative with culinary teams to innovate and update menus.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in POS systems, scheduling tools, and management software.
  • Flexible to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • A bachelor's degree in hospitality or business is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Food safety and alcohol service certifications, such as ServSafe or TIPS, are highly desirable.
  • Experienced in contributing to marketing initiatives and revenue growth strategies.
  • Work Environment

    This job is usually performed indoors and outdoors, in a controlled environment, and experiences a high level of noise in the work environment.

    Physical Demands

    Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, reach, and carry 25 pounds.

    Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

    This is a full-time position. The employee is expected to work an alternating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
