Responsibilities
- Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation upon guest arrival.
- Serving guests at all pool & beach areas providing the highest level of service possible in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner.
- Monitor and control the maintenance/sanitation of the Gym, Pool & Beach equipment to protect the assets, comply with regulations and ensure a safe work environment.
- Responsible for the cleanliness of all Pool, Beach and gym public areas; chaise lounges, umbrellas, towel stands, water stations.
- Ensures compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
- Wil be responsible for all aspects of the beach (chair, towels, cleanliness, etc...)
- Will be responsible for the daily set up for all beach chairs and cabanas.
- Be knowledgeable about daily hotel operations, check daily event sheets, bulletin boards and be up to date with all changes, new procedures, and events.
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager; and complete safety training and certifications.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support the team to reach common goals.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Hospitality oriented
- Must be physically able to lift, push, pull, carry chairs and bulk towels which may weigh as much as 80 pounds.
- Able to handle difficult situations effectively.
- Able to work quickly and efficiently, especially under pressure.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Fully Bilingual (Spanish and English)
