Position: Program Manager 2
Program: Cornerstone
Location: New Haven
Salary: $65,000-70,000/year
Schedule: Full time, 40 hours, Monday-Friday, 1st shift with flexibility for evenings/weekends to meet the needs of the program
Program Summary:
A transitional group home providing psychosocial rehabilitation to adults with serious and persistent mental illness, who have a history of psychiatric hospitalization and impaired social functioning, in order to reduce the frequency of hospitalization and improve skills related to self-care and independent functioning in the community.
Position Summary:
The Program Manager 2 is responsible for the oversight of daily programmatic operations including: program development, supervision, staff training, quality assurance and program evaluation. The Program Manager provides supervision to case managers and residential aide staff.
This position is exempt and works under the supervision of the Program Director 2. The Program Manager will participate in on-call responsibilities for the program/Behavioral Health department. Ideally, the candidate will have experience managing a 24/hr. residential program, be highly organized, have proven leadership abilities, and be able to effectively manage multiple priorities.
Working within Adult Services, the Program Manager 2 works on the Behavioral Health Treatment care team to support individuals with severe and persistent mental illness residing in a residential setting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a human service discipline (Master’s Degree preferred)
- 2 years relevant experience in a mental health/co-occurring disorders position
- Valid Driver’s License
- Regular and predictable attendance is required
Orientation:
If selected for employment with The Connection, newly hired employees will be required to attend a two (2) day mandatory New Hire Orientation at our Roscommon office located in Middletown.
