We are seeking an experienced Business Development Director with a strong

background in the jewelry industry to drive growth and expand our market presence.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing strategic partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, leading initiatives to enhance sales and profitability and provide business analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Strategic Planning : Implement comprehensive business development strategies that align with company goals and market trends.
  • Market Analysis : Conduct thorough market research to identify and analyze emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in the jewelry sector.
  • Partnership Development : Establish and nurture relationships with key industry stakeholders, including retailers, suppliers, and designers.
  • Sales Leadership : Oversee sales initiatives, set performance targets, and ensure objectives are met.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with internal and external teams to align business development efforts with overall company strategy.
  • Networking : Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance visibility and build relationships.
  • Reporting : Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on business development activities, market trends, and competitive positioning.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Must be eligible to work without sponsorship.
  • Must have experience in the Wholesale Jewelry Industry, ideally knowledgeable in precious metals.
  • Must be able to create pitch decks on new product offerings.
  • Ability to develop strategic partnerships, identify new business opportunities and increase sales performance and profitability.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the jewelry industry.
  • Proven track record of successful partnership development and revenue growth.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and develop actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a small team with external partners and stakeholders
