Lead Systems Architect for the modernization of public-facing government system working closely with the team and government stakeholders. This involves leading efforts to transition to containers, the Cloud, and other future environments. Drive the creation of architectural documentation and ensure it aligns with government standards. Offer insights to enhance the DevSecOps maturity of system.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the development and expansion of MeF architecture, creating and presenting architecture artifacts to the MeF team and government stakeholders.
- Provide architectural recommendations and strategies for transitioning MeF to microservices, containers, and the Cloud.
- Ensure the creation and maintenance of contractual deliverables following government documentation standards. (Approx. 10%)
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with the government. (Approx. 10%)
- Offer estimates for Level of Effort (LoE) on Impact Assessments and VROMs. (Approx. 5%)
- Suggest improvements for implementing DevSecOps practices in MeF. (Approx. 5%)
Required Experience and Skills :
Over 10 years of experience designing and collaborating on large, complex program architectures with stakeholders, customers, partners, project teams, and vendors.At least 10 years of strong written and verbal communication skills with customers.Minimum 5 years of experience leading teams of architects and / or developers.Over 4 years of experience modernizing complex enterprise applications (including Java) for the Cloud.Over 4 years of experience modernizing enterprise applications by leveraging microservices and containers.Over 4 years of experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift.At least 4 years of experience developing solutions on AWS GovCloud.Over 4 years of experience using Event Driven Architecture patterns.At least 4 years of experience handling information security for large, sensitive Java applications.Over 4 years of experience maintaining requirements and traceability for large, complex systems.At least 4 years of experience working with the Linux platform.Over 4 years of experience with CM tools like IBM Engineering Workflow Management (EWM) and Git SCM.At least 3 years of experience working with middleware products, such as JBoss EAP, WebSphere, AMQ, Kafka, and IBM MQ.Over 2 years of experience developing DevSecOps solutions for complex projects.Preferred Skills :
