Job Description: As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of multiple properties by performing a variety of tasks, including make-readies, emergency repairs, and general maintenance. You will work on a range of repairs and maintenance needs across our properties, ensuring that everything is in top shape for our tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform emergency repairs as needed for tenants
- Handle general repairs including drywall, flooring, painting, and similar tasks
- Assist in preparing units for new tenants (make-readies)
- Conduct minor plumbing and electrical repairs (knowledge preferred)
- Use hand tools and other equipment to complete tasks efficiently
- Ensure maintenance tasks are completed in a timely and professional manner
- Coordinate with the property management team to schedule and prioritize tasks
- Keep track of inventory and necessary tools
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical (license not required, but preferred)
- Proficient in using hand tools and performing basic maintenance tasks (drywall, flooring, etc.)
- Previous maintenance experience or handyman experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to interact with tenants professionally
- Reliable transportation to travel between multiple properties in Cleveland
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.51 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
