We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team and oversee the renovation of short term rental properties, working closely with subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Position Overview:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of short term rental renovation projects, from initial planning and budgeting to final completion. You will work closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to coordinate resources, schedules, and budgets to deliver exceptional results for our clients.
To excel in this role, you should be client obsessed, a process and organizational nerd and be willing and able to do everything possible to stay on budget, on timeline and ensure a 5 star client experience for all parties.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage renovation projects from start to finish under the guidance of the Director of Construction, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Ensure all stakeholders are kept informed and are communicated to in written and verbal formats.
- Assist the Permitting Team to prep documentation for permitting requests that will initiate the project
- Collaborate with clients, Director of Design, teammates and subcontractors to define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Develop detailed estimates, schedules and budgets for individual projects, communicating these effectively to all stakeholders.
- Supervise subcontractors and construction crews remotely, providing guidance, support, and resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise. This will require communication during weekends and evenings as needed.
- Regularly inspect sites remotely through live video walkthroughs, along with photos and videos, to monitor progress, ensure work quality, and verify compliance with safety rules and building codes
- Track project expenses, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure projects stay within budget.
- Manage client communication from project kickoff to completion, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the renovation process.
- Keep up with project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and closeout documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Be available evenings and weekends for subcontractor communication.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing projects
- General knowledge of the construction industry
- Excellent problem solving, organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Prior experience being client facing and/or managing client relationships or accounts
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Google Workspace, specifically with solid knowledge of Google Sheets
- Commitment to teamwork, quality of work, attention to detail, and client satisfaction.
- Willingness to take on projects mid-timeline
- Willingness and ability to be onsite a few times per week (1-3x) to visit your projects and lay "eyes" on the work within the greater Poconos area
Preferred Qualifications:
- Management experience within the construction industry, with a focus on STR renovations or remodeling projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and regulations.
- Prior experience being the point of contact for the client throughout the lifecycle of the project.
- Proficiency in Project Management software
- Experience working with subcontractors and managing vendor relationships.
Total Compensation: The total compensation range for this role is the one that's displayed. It includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, performance bonuses and more.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
