Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting who is eager to contribute to a growing company while enjoying a family-oriented work environment and long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize QuickBooks Online, Salesforce, Service Titan, Adobe, and Microsoft Office for data analysis, reporting, and record-keeping.
• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices, including reviewing and editing technician reports.
• Monitor accounts receivable, ensuring timely collections and following up on overdue accounts.
• Communicate with customers to resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues.
• Maintain and update aging reports and process adjustments as needed.
• Assist with cash flow management by providing updates on receivables.
• Reconcile accounts and support month-end closing procedures.
• Generate ad hoc financial reports and maintain accurate financial statements.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Work closely with auditors during annual audits by providing documentation and explanations.
• Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve payment or billing issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations.
  
  

Qualifications

• 5 years of accounting experience (required).
• Strong skills in financial reporting, account reconciliation, and general ledger management.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and other accounting-related software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal teams and customers.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting is a plus but not required.
