Job Overview

Hass Co LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Auger Boring - Pilot Tube Foreman to lead a dynamic crew in heavy civil construction projects. This position involves operating specialized boring and earth-moving equipment, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering precision alignment of bores and pilot tubes under challenging conditions. As a Foreman, you will oversee daily site operations, maintain a productive and respectful work environment, and ensure the successful completion of projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate auger boring machines, pilot tube systems, tunnel boring machines, and earth-moving equipment with skill and precision.
• Align and install bores and pilot tubes to exact tolerances, even in challenging conditions.
• Coordinate daily site operations to ensure safety, timeliness, and efficiency.
• Maintain open communication with the Field Superintendent and/or Director of Operations regarding progress and challenges.
• Take proactive steps to identify and resolve potential hazards or obstructions, such as utility lines or falling objects.
• Monitor site operations to maintain compliance with health and safety standards.
• Lead and mentor the crew, fostering a positive and respectful work environment.
  
  

Qualifications

• Required:
• 2-3 years of verifiable experience in auger boring, pilot tube, and tunnel boring methods.
• Knowledge of safe pit/trench construction methods and regulations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to pass drug tests and background checks.
• Preferred:
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Bilingual in Spanish and English. (Preferred)
