Full Job Description

Swanson Family Construction is seeking a dedicated Carpenter/Framer with 2 years of experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in framing, carpentry, and general construction, with a passion for building quality homes and structures. As a Carpenter/Framer, you will play a key role in constructing and renovating residential properties, working with a skilled team to deliver top-notch craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of framing for residential projects, including walls, floors, and roof structures.
• Measure, cut, and assemble lumber and other materials to construct frameworks and structures according to project plans.
• Install windows, doors, and other structural components.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy in construction.
• Safely operate hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and framing equipment.
• Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and follow safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the project team to complete tasks efficiently and meet project deadlines.
• Assist with other carpentry tasks, such as installing trim, cabinetry, and exterior elements when required.
  
  

Ideal Candidate Should Possess

• Minimum of 2 years of carpentry/framing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans.
• Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Schedule

• Full Time
• Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work based on project needs.
