Key Responsibilities
- Perform estimating and bid analysis to prepare accurate proposals.
- Conduct takeoffs and research products and materials to ensure accurate pricing.
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and vendors throughout the bidding process.
- Read and interpret construction drawings to identify product requirements.
- Follow up on proposals and assist in securing projects.
- Support Project Managers with administrative duties as needed.
- Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
- Experience with Comsense is a bonus (but not required).
- Experience in the commercial door, frame, and hardware industry is required.
- Strong mathematical and organizational skills.
- Ability to read construction drawings and identify material/product requirements.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in estimating.
- Strong ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using estimating software and digital tools.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
