Job Overview

You will manage daily operations, ensure safety and quality, and work closely with our teams and subcontractors to exceed client expectations. Reporting to the Vice President, this role is pivotal in driving project success through leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage all aspects of assigned residential and commercial electrical projects.
• Review project contracts, schedules, and submittals to ensure alignment with company standards.
• Plan workflow, coordinate material deliveries, and schedule manpower to meet project deadlines.
• Perform take-offs for materials and manage project costs, labor, and subcontractors.
• Maintain documentation for drawings, RFIs, changes, and updates; forward change data to estimating.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate progress, quality, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Attend project meetings and negotiate contracts with subcontractors.
• Enforce safety practices and ensure proper PPE and training for all team members.
• Leadership and People Management
• Lead by example, aligning daily tasks with company objectives.
• Develop and coach employees to enhance skills and performance.
• Provide clear expectations, monitor attendance, and assign tasks based on strengths.
• Conduct performance evaluations, mentor staff, and foster an inclusive work environment.
• Coordinate team meetings to communicate new processes or updates.
• Build professional relationships within the industry.
  

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in the electrical trade and project management.
• Proficiency in managing manpower, subcontractors, schedules, and budgets.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams.
• Knowledge of safety standards and a commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.
• Physical ability to meet job demands, including lifting, standing, and using PPE.

Work Schedule

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
