Job Overview

G1 Mechanical is seeking a motivated and results-driven Commercial Sales Executive to power our sales growth in the mechanical and HVAC construction space. This role focuses on developing new business, managing existing client relationships, and executing strategic upselling to expand market reach. Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new commercial business opportunities through proactive lead generation and cold calling.
  • Build and manage relationships across a designated territory, maintaining regular communication with clients.
  • Conduct compelling outside sales presentations to prospective clients, effectively promoting HVAC/mechanical solutions.
  • Develop strategies to upsell additional products and services to existing customers to drive revenue growth.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of industry trends, competitor offerings, and technological advancements.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and detailed product/service presentations tailored to customer needs.
  • Collaborate with internal project and service teams to ensure successful execution of client expectations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in outside sales or territory management is preferred.
  • Background in retail sales or business development is highly advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage clients and build long-term relationships.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Capable of working independently while managing multiple accounts.
  • Proactive, results-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems and mechanical contracting is a plus, but not required.

Work Schedule

Full-Time | Monday - Friday | Standard Business Hours with Occasional Client Meetings/Events

Work Location:

Field-based, with client visits across designated sales territories. Office location and travel expectations to be discussed during the interview process.
