Job Overview

Bend Commercial Glass and Door is seeking an experienced and skilled Door & Hardware Technician to join our team. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented, hands-on professional with strong mechanical aptitude and at least five years of daily experience in commercial glazing, doors, and hardware installation and repair.

You'll be working on a wide range of projects, from hollow metal doors, aluminum storefronts, and automatic door operators to interior and exterior glazing systems. What You'll Be Doing

• You will be responsible for the layout, takeoff, fabrication, installation, and repair of commercial door and window systems, including:
• Hollow metal, Timely, wood, and aluminum storefront doors
• Door hardware installation and repair
• Automatic operators and automatic doors
• Interior and exterior glazing
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Mandatory Qualifications:
• Five or more years of daily experience in commercial glazing, doors, and door hardware
• Customer-facing service mindset with strong professionalism and communication skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• High attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and installations
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to pass a drug screen
• Clean driving record and a valid driver's license
• Must provide own basic hand/power tools
• Demonstrated Experience Needed:
• Hollow metal doors, frames, and hardware installation
• Timely knock-down frames and lite kit cutouts
• Aluminum storefronts and entries
• Storefront door hardware installation and repair
• ADA operator installation (ANSI certification a plus)
• AAADM Certification preferred but not required

Work Schedule & Location

• Full-time, Monday - Friday
• Based in Central Oregon; travel for projects will be required
