Grimm, Inc., Heavy Haul truck drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of heavy equipment and materials to and from the jobsite. Grimm, Inc., we strive to create lasting customer and team loyalty through our dedication to ethical practices, continuous employee growth, and the highest standard of service in the industry.Responsibilities include but are not limited to : -Load and deliver heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and graders to projects in a timely manner while adhering to all safety standards.-Operate water trucks or other equipment on a jobsite as needed.-Perform daily inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.-Conduct preventive maintenance and minor repairs on machinery to prevent breakdowns.-Ensure that all equipment is cleaned and maintained to preserve performance and longevity.-Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times, including the use of spotters when necessary.-Work closely with supervisors and project managers to ensure project deadlines are met.-Report larger repair needs or safety concerns to appropriate personnel promptly.-Perform occasional labor tasks as needed to support project completion.-Document maintenance checks and equipment performance records regularly.The ideal candidate should possess : -CDL A with 5 years driving experience required.-Strong understanding of equipment maintenance and minor repair procedures.-Keen attention to detail and the ability to work safely in various work environments.-Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.-Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, tools, and materials.Physical Requirements : -Lifting : 0 to 100 pounds-Pulling, pushing, and carrying-Reaching or working above shoulder height-Walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and repeated bending-Climbing and operating a motor vehicle-Finger manipulation (typing)Benefits : -Health Insurance Options-Health Insurance (65% paid by the company for the employee only)-Dental and Vision Insurance Offered-Life Insurance (Paid for by the company)-Retirement Plan Options-401K (eligible after 6 months of service)-Paid Time Off-Vacation, Sick and Personal time - after 1 year of service-Career Growth Opportunities-Work Life Balance-Company and Team Events-Performance or Annual Bonuses-Continued Training and Certifications-Safety training-Phone stipend depending on the job classificationSchedule : -Full Time-Travel Required : 100% travel required.
