Key Responsibilities
- Work under an experienced foreman to learn project management, crew leadership, and marine construction best practices.
- Assist in overseeing daily job site operations, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely.
- Coordinate with team members to complete tasks such as dock building, pile driving, seawall installation, and other marine construction work.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, project specifications, and customer expectations.
- Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and machinery required for marine construction.
- Assist in training and mentoring crew members, promoting teamwork and high-quality workmanship.
- Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule.
- Troubleshoot job site issues and develop problem-solving skills to handle unexpected challenges.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
