Lead the Future of Luxury Home Building

At Arnett Construction, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Custom Homes Superintendent to lead our prestigious projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-end custom luxury homes and remodels in beautiful locations around Charleston, S.C.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and execute quality custom homes from development through punch-out, ensuring timely completion.
• Provide managerial oversight of home construction projects, maintaining adherence to high-quality standards and client specifications.
• Review and analyze subcontractor and owner-directed change orders to ensure project alignment with budget and timeline.
• Coordinate, manage, and supervise all aspects of construction, including personnel, materials, budgets, and schedules.
• Maintain safe, clean, and compliant job sites while fostering positive relationships with all stakeholders.
• Oversight subcontractor scheduling, delivery, and performance to ensure timely project completion and customer satisfaction.
• Complete homes and address customer walk-through items prior to closing, ensuring a seamless handover.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including schedules, budgets, reports, and communications.

Requirements:

• 5 years experience as a Residential Custom Homes Superintendent.
• Proven ability to establish positive relationships with diverse stakeholders, including homeowners, upper management, designers, trades, and vendors.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and maintain customer satisfaction throughout the building process.
• Effective time management, multitasking, and prioritization abilities to meet project goals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to analyzing and resolving issues.
• Proficiency in construction practices, blueprint interpretation, and project management software.
• Attention to detail, persistence in follow-up, and a strong sense of urgency to deliver high-quality results.
• Physically capable of performing job duties, including occasional lifting and extended periods of stationary work.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers, co-workers, and higher-level managers in face-to-face and electronic settings.

Desired Skills:

• Working knowledge of BuilderTrend software.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, including Sheets, Docs, & Drive.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Familiarity with local subcontractors and building codes.
