Key Responsibilities
- Client Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Bid Leadership: Prepare all bids, budgets, and proposals for new business opportunities and client presentations.
- Plan Review: Conduct detailed drawing reviews for sub invitations, constructability, value analysis, schedule development, and scope understanding.
- Cost Management: Develop precise cost estimates, clarifications, and schedules for each project; respond to RFPs and bid/budget requests.
- Project Transition: Organize and lead transition meetings between project operations and preconstruction teams.
- Minimum of 5 years in commercial construction, with projects ranging from $1M - $15M.
- Expertise in civil, architectural, structural, and MEP plans/blueprints and specifications.
- Comprehensive knowledge of estimating, takeoff processes, and all 16 divisions of construction.
- Preferred experience in retail, renovation, automotive, restaurant, office/medical, and light industrial projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Takeoff software, MS Project, and Office Suite.
- Project Management and/or Superintendent field experience is a plus, with a desire to fully focus on Preconstruction.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
