Key Responsibilities

• Project Management Responsibilities
• Lead and oversee electrical construction projects from planning to completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely execution.
• Manage budgets, resources, and materials to ensure cost efficiency.
• Coordinate labor requirements, ensuring proper manpower staffing.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, building codes, and legal requirements.
• Communicate effectively with clients, foremen, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor and report project progress to leadership.
• Resolve on-site issues related to safety, weather, or emergencies.
• Negotiate and manage change orders, ensuring scope and costs remain in control.
• Lead project closeout procedures and conduct post-project reviews.
• Estimating Responsibilities
• Analyze blueprints and technical drawings to determine material and labor costs.
• Estimate project costs accurately, including wiring, labor, materials, and fixtures.
• Utilize estimating software to develop competitive bids.
• Manage cost databases to account for market fluctuations.
• Communicate with clients to determine project scope and feasibility.
• Generate project proposals and contracts with detailed scope of work.
• Follow up on submitted bids to secure new business.
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, suppliers, and customers.
  

What We're Looking For

• 7 to 10 years of electrical construction experience, with at least 4 years in project management.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes and design.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading, estimating software, and project scheduling tools.
• Knowledge of construction industry regulations, contracts, and cost control.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, electrical engineering, or related field (preferred but not required).
• Certified Estimator credentials (ASPE or AACE) a plus.
