Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimating Manager to lead our estimating team and support our sales and marketing efforts. Based in our main office, this role involves overseeing accurate estimate preparation, managing inspections and bid timelines, and ensuring high standards in roofing estimates. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the estimating department, ensuring all estimates are accurate and meet bid deadlines.
• Be accountable for departmental goals and their achievement monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Provide expert guidance in roofing and technical solutions to inspectors and estimators.
• Approve and proofread all estimates before submission to the sales team.
• Conduct ride-alongs with inspectors to support team development and departmental goals.
• Identify and implement process efficiencies to enhance market competitiveness.
• Personally perform inspections and estimates to meet overall objectives.
• Train and mentor team members with approved training plans, ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Foster a positive team environment focused on solutions and achieving results.
  
  

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in commercial roofing and estimating.
• Expertise in single-ply and metal roofing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficiency in CRM and estimating software beyond Excel.
• Experience managing a team is preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Work Schedule

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday. Saturday availability may be required.
