Key Responsibilities
- Perform rough and finish carpentry tasks on residential, commercial, and local municipality restoration projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans to meet project specifications.
- Install and repair framing, structures, exteriors; doors, windows, and siding. Interiors; trim and finish work, stairs, and other renovation and remodeling work using hand and power tools.
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials with precision to ensure high-quality results.
- Work with various materials including wood, metal, drywall, tile, concrete, and composite materials.
- Operate equipment such as saws, drills, and other power tools safely and effectively.
- Ensure work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and project requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other team members to complete jobs on schedule.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
- Proven experience as a well-rounded and skilled site carpenter in residential and commercial construction and renovations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project plans.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and construction methods.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment.
- Attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to complete projects efficiently.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following OSHA regulations.
- Work on-site, with the ability to lift 50 lbs, stand, climb, bend, work at heights, and safely with power tools.
- Lead safety and lift experience is a plus.
- A valid driver's license.
