Key Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of finish carpentry including doors, hardware, trim, cabinetry, and millwork
- Interpret blueprints and project drawings to meet exact specifications
- Install wood, laminate, and specialty finishes with high attention to detail
- Collaborate with superintendents and project managers on timelines and quality standards
- Measure, cut, and shape materials with precision using hand and power tools
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, ensuring compliance with jobsite safety protocols
- Troubleshoot and solve field installation challenges on the fly
- Participate in site walkthroughs and punch-list completion
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial finish carpentry or a related field
- Strong knowledge of materials, methods, and tools for finish work
- Ability to work from blueprints, technical drawings, and verbal instructions
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Reliable, professional, and able to work independently or on a team
- Willingness to perform other rough carpentry functions when needed.
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
- Experience working on commercial or government construction sites
- Familiarity with ADA compliance and commercial hardware installation
- OSHA or other safety certifications a plus
