(QPS) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Foreman to lead and manage our field crew on heavy commercial and industrial electrical construction projects. The Foreman will be responsible for ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed, directing daily activities of the crew, coordinating material orders, and maintaining quality standards. As a crucial member of the project team, the Foreman will work closely with General Foremen, Project Managers, and Superintendents to ensure successful and efficient project execution.Who we are : Quality Plus Services Inc. Join us and experience unparalleled service and excellence in the industrial sector.Responsibilities include but are not limited to : -Safety Compliance : -Ensure all QPS / Client safety procedures are being followed by field personnel.-Conduct weekly toolbox talks with the crew and submit paperwork to Environmental Health & Safety (EHS).-Crew Management : -Assign daily work instructions to field crew members and oversee their tasks.-Hold crew accountable for work quality, including monitoring start / stop and break times.-Resource Coordination : -Create and submit material orders needed for project scope, sending requests to GF / Superintendent for review.-Manage tool requests, ensuring all crew members have necessary equipment before mobilizing additional manpower.-Documentation & Reporting : -Complete and submit daily time cards and provide daily progress updates to GF or project lead.-Fill out three-week look-ahead schedules and submit them to GF or project lead.-Project Oversight : -Produce and maintain routing drawings, keeping redlines updated and submitted as needed.-Conduct thorough inspection of work and approve before calling for QA / QC inspection.-Communication & Coordination : -Notify GF / project lead of any RFI (Request for Information) issues and work closely with the project team.-Be responsible for locations of tools and equipment issued, reviewing needs with GF / Super / PM.-Quality Assurance : -Call for QA / QC inspections and coordinate with the inspector.-Ensure that all work areas are properly verified and signed off before moving forward.-Team Meetings & Training : -Conduct tailboard talks and submit paperwork to EHS.-Provide training and guidance to crew members to ensure quality and efficiency.The ideal candidate should possess : -Experience : Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or foreman role in electrical construction, preferably in heavy commercial projects.-Require a minimum of 8 years of industrial electrical experience.-Technical Skills : Ability to read blueprints, perform layout work, and understand electrical installation requirements.-Leadership : Strong leadership and communication skills to manage and motivate field crews effectively.-Safety-Oriented : Thorough understanding of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.-Organized : Ability to maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports, time cards, and material orders.-Problem-Solving : Strong analytical skills to resolve on-site issues quickly and efficiently.-Physical Requirements : Must be physically fit, able to work on heights, and lift heavy equipment as needed.-Certifications : OSHA safety certifications or equivalent training preferred.Benefits : -Health Insurance Options-Retirement Plan Options-Paid Time Off-Career Growth Opportunities-Work Life Balance - 3 Day weekend options-Travel Opportunities (w / Per Diem)-Company and Team Events-Performance Bonus Potential-Continued Training and Certifications - ABC Training Program for Apprentices-Onsite Training and ExperienceSchedule : -10 hour shifts - 4 x 10's Option!-Monday to Thursday-Overtime PotentialWork Location : -In Person-Phoenix AZ area-Various sites across chemical plants, power plants, and pulp and paper industries-Opportunities to travel to projects nationally!Join Quality Plus Services Inc., where your leadership skills will make a significant impact on high-profile projects.
